In 2015, we received an enquiry on our website from Krunal Meva, a director of VINAY International School, stuck in between the procress of setting up of a school. They has construction half done and were working towards the basic permissions of the school .Upon their request team LIFE EDUCARE visited Morbi. We started our work with hiring a principal for the school who worked closely with us in putting up the school interiors, hiring teachers, CBSE affiliations, the Educo-Legal formalities, school systems and above all a progressive curriculum that suited the first generation English learners of the growing Morbi town.
LIFE EDUCARE was a turnkey school setup consultant where we did architecture planning, resource planning, Principal and Teacher recruitment, school systems and formats, Teacher Training, School Branding & Promotion curriculum designing and necessary regulatory permissions. The School was Launched in April, 2015.
The state of Gujrat largely depends upon teachers from other states of the country. Most of the locals prefer running a business over a teaching Job. Morbi which was earlier a part of Rajkot District is located in Saurashtra region of Gujarat. City being heavily industrialized due to the presence of almost all the global ceramic tiles manufacturing companies makes the cost of living very expensive for the outside teachers. We took the challenge of hiring potential local teachers and conducted rigorous training of those teachers. The teachers were quick learners and they molded themselves to the need of the school. The school activities that the teachers planned and executed in the first year of its operation was appreciated by the parent community. Tier 2 and tier 3 cities of India usually believes in having teachers from outside. VIS – Morbi is an exception to this popular belief.
Whenever I think of LIFE EDUCARE, I am reminded of a smiling face Dr. Dhirendra Mishra, an educationalist who has simple and innovative solutions for all our academic and non-academic problems. Being a founder Principal of Vinay International School, Morbi, Rajkot, It was vastly challenging work for me to establish a school which writes the success stories as the infrastructure and culture of the city were not very supportive for modern education. It was herculean task to find competent teachers, their training, pedagogy to be followed, establishing the right assessment for teachers and students and overall support a school for long term goals and vision. But Life Educare was well capable to quickly accomplish the project and exceeded my expectations.
