Background:

In 2017, we received arecommendation from Dr. Madhav Deo Saraswat, Principal, Scindiya School – Gwalior that Dr. Sanjay Singh, the Rajya Sabha MP wishes to start a 21st century school in his home town Amethi. Dr. Sanjay Singh is the part of the royal family of Amethi and runs many institutes of eminence in Amethi town. Upon invitation our founder Dr. Dhirendra Mishra and Abhiney Singh alongwith Dr. Saraswat, visited Amethi and signed the contract to assist the proimoters in setting up this school. We conduct a feasibility study to estimate the potential of the town. Along with the study we also started guiding the Architect on the area utilization and gave a design brief. The feasibility study showed that people in Amethi were really looking forward to have a quality school and were ready to pay fee that was beyond the promoter’s expectation. The construction was divided into three phases i.e. 40,000 square feet, 25,000 square feet and 20,000 square feet.

LIFE’s Role and Tenure:

LIFE EDUCARE was a turnkey school setup consultant where we did feasibility, architecture planning, resource planning, Principal and Teacher recruitment, school systems and formats, Teacher Training, School Branding & Promotion (from logo designing to executing the marketing plan) entrance examination planning, curriculum designing and necessary regulatory permissions. The School was Launched in April, 2018.

The School Discovery Exercise:

Amwthi had only one CBSE school that was run by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) that runs on traditional lines. RRSGS as the school is polularly called as in the towngot the CBSE affiliation in the first year of it’s operations (CBSE Affiliation Number: 2133308). The inspection team was pleased to see the infrastructure quality and the curriculum planning of the school. We started admissions from classes Nursery to Grade 6 in the first year. We had a total of 300 seats available in the school and all the seats were full in the first year. The success of the school gave motivation to the school to expand and the second phase of construction was started in the second year. School currently have classes from Nursery to 10th with over 670 students. The school has staff members from Lucknow, Allahabad and various nearby cities. LIFE EDUCARE still supports the school in recruitment and training.
